Several of the beaches near Tampa make the top 10 beaches in the U.S. every year, which includes the #1 beach this year. The beaches are 30-60 minutes away, depending on where you go, and there are many beautiful parks in the area.

Busch Gardens is less than 5 minutes away. Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World are all approximately a 1 hour and 15 minutes drive away from campus.

USF Recreation

Nearby campus, at USF’s Riverfront Park, canoe and kayak rentals are available.  Lettuce State Park is next to this park and provides wildlife viewing.

Florida Mountain Bike Trails

Alafia River State Park has mountain bike singletracks that are IMBA EPIC certified.
